Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of getmayotutors.com and the tutoring services of MayoTutors, a Georgia business. When you enroll, the signed Service Agreement (and Parental Consent for students under 18) is the contract for tutoring. You can read the current Service Agreement (PDF) at any time before you sign it. If your household is enrolling multiple children, the optional Family Enrollment Schedule (fillable PDF) can list the separate lesson entitlements and prices for each child alongside the applicable signed Service Agreement. If anything here conflicts with your signed agreement, the signed agreement controls.
Services
MayoTutors provides one-on-one tutoring sessions in person (library or in-home) or virtually. Sessions are one hour unless extra time is requested. Subjects, formats, and hours are described on the website and may change.
Enrollment
Submitting the sign-up form is a request, not a guarantee of a spot. We confirm availability and details with you, and tutoring begins after the Service Agreement is signed. Students under 18 must be enrolled by a parent or legal guardian.
Pricing, payment and billing
Prices shown on the website apply to the package you choose. Payment is due as described in the Payment policy and Billing & renewal sections on the Hours & policies section of our site, including due dates, grace period, automatic billing, refunds, and price-change notice. Automatic billing only applies if you authorize it when you enroll, and you can cancel with 7 days’ notice before your next billing date.
Cancellations and make-ups
Our cancellation, make-up, no-show, and travel-fee rules are in the “What happens when…” table and policy cards on the site and in your Service Agreement.
No guarantee of results
We work hard to help every student improve, but academic results depend on many factors, including the student’s effort. We do not guarantee any particular grade, test score, or outcome.
Monthly and Semester plans
Monthly means a calendar-month billing period with 4 one-hour lessons per selected weekly session. Semester means four consecutive calendar-month billing periods and 16 one-hour lessons per selected weekly session, not a guaranteed 16 consecutive weeks. The accepted quote states each learner's allotment and price. If Semester service ends early, delivered or chargeable lessons are re-priced at the standard Monthly per-lesson rate, without charging for future undelivered lessons. Website use
Please use the site honestly and lawfully. The content on this site belongs to MayoTutors; please don’t copy or republish it without permission.
Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, MayoTutors is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the website or services, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. If the signed Service Agreement and these website terms differ as to a purchased tutoring plan, the signed Service Agreement controls that plan, subject to applicable law.
