MayoTutors ("we", "us") provides one-on-one tutoring in Georgia and online. This page explains what information we collect through getmayotutors.com, why, and who sees it. Questions? Email getmayotutors@gmail.com or call/text (470) 404-6838.

What we collect

• Enrollment form: student name, age, grade, school (optional), subjects, format and library branch, package and payment-method preference, parent/guardian name (for students under 18), phone numbers, email, city and state, availability, learning accommodations or goals (optional), and how you heard about us.
• Custom quote requests: the details you type about what you need.
• Testimonial form: your name, relationship to the student, email, and the review you write. Nothing is published without checking with you first.
• Intro-call booking: name, email and the time you choose, collected by our scheduling provider (Cal.com).
• Payments: we do not collect card or bank details on this website. Payments happen through Cash App, a Square invoice, or (on request) Zelle through your bank, which are handled by those services.

How we use it

To schedule and deliver sessions, personalize tutoring, contact you, send invoices and receipts, keep business records, and follow the law. If you separately opt in to occasional MayoTutors tutoring tips or updates on a quote form, we may contact you for that purpose; it is optional, and you can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us. We do not sell your information or use it for third-party targeted advertising.

Who else handles it

We do not sell your information. We share it only with the services we use to run MayoTutors, and only as needed for them to do their job: Netlify (hosts this site and receives form submissions), Square and Cash App (payments), Cal.com (scheduling), Zoom (virtual sessions), Google (email and public business reviews), and EmbedSocial (displays publicly posted Google reviews on our homepage). We may also disclose information if required by law.

Students and children

This website and its sign-up and quote forms are directed to parents, legal guardians and adult students, not to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If a parent or guardian enrolls a student, we collect only what we need to schedule and teach (for example the student’s name, school level, subjects and relevant learning goals). Please do not include children’s birth dates, diagnoses, school records or any card or bank details in forms. If you believe a child has submitted information to us directly, contact us and we will delete it. How we keep students safe in sessions is described on our Student Safety page.

How long we keep it

We keep enrollment and billing records for as long as needed to provide the service and keep accurate business records, then delete or anonymize them. You can ask us to delete your information sooner (see below), except where we must keep records.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you or your student by emailing us. Testimonials can be removed at any time on request.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS and form submissions go to our hosting provider’s secure form handling. No system is perfectly secure, so please don’t put sensitive details (such as card numbers or ID numbers) in any form field.

Cookies and analytics

MayoTutors does not intentionally install its own advertising trackers. External services used on this site include Cal.com (scheduling), Google Fonts (typography), and EmbedSocial (Google Reviews display). When these components load, their providers may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser details, and page requests, and may use their own cookies or similar technologies under their respective policies. The Google Reviews section is provided by EmbedSocial and includes public Google review information.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above.
