Why physics students often need math, too
Most physics trouble is really a math-and-setup problem: reading a word problem, choosing the right equation, and handling the algebra and trigonometry cleanly. Because we tutor both subjects, we can fix the underlying math in the same hour as the physics concept, rather than leaving the student to bridge them alone.
What a session looks like
- We start from the student’s current unit, lab, or upcoming test.
- We turn word problems into diagrams, then equations, then answers, and check units and reasonableness each time.
- We connect each formula to the idea behind it, so students can handle problems they haven’t seen before.
Physics Quiz & Exam Preparation
We help students study Physics by connecting the concepts to the mathematics: interpreting word problems, sketching diagrams, choosing equations, checking units and explaining the answer.
- Review class topics such as motion, forces, energy, momentum, electricity and waves as applicable.
- Work through free-body diagrams and example problems.
- Practice independent questions and build a study plan before the assessment.
Included in standard tutoring sessions. Quiz and test preparation is not a separate required package. See our study-preparation approach.
Price
